Drawr development

Originally, Drawr was conceived as an adaptation of the game mechanics from Drawful in the Jackbox Party Pack. It's a simple yet fun party game that was only available in English at that time. The goal was to create a game similar in mechanics while keeping the focus on local play and making it more accessible through direct browser access. It was important to ensure support and readability of the interface on both players' phones and on a large screen in spectator mode.

A game consists of one or two rounds depending on the number of players. First, each participant tries to depict the suggested task, then all drawings go through two stages in turn - offering options and voting for the best ones. The scoring mechanics are similar to popular board games Dixit and Imaginearium - the author of the picture receives points for each person who guesses correctly, while other players receive points for correct choices and for votes from other players.

The game can have up to 12 players, but the number of spectators is unlimited. Spectators can also vote for players' options during the voting phase. Thus, there are two winners in the game - the one with the most points and the "audience favorite," who wins by likes.
